THURSDAY, OCTOBER 2nd:

THERE IS A COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST BUFFET EVERY MORNING IN THE BREAKFAST ROOM, JUST OFF THE LOBBY.

                  Morning is free to spend some time getting acquainted while the Executive Committee meets.

 

______11:30 a.m.  Meet in the Hospitality room for an informal box lunch catered by Jason's Deli.          Cost:  $10.00 per person

 

______12:30 p.m. Carpool to the Truman Library for film, tour and visiting the museum.  Cost:  $6.00 per person

                                                                                                           

______6:00 p.m.: Meet in the breakfast area for a dinner catered by the Jack Stack Restaurant, followed by our first reunion meeting in the hospitality room. Our own Gary Hoffman will tell about the westward migration of the Tarvins and who settled in Kansas.Cost:  $18.00 per person

 

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3rd.

 

_______9:30 a. m.: Meet in the lobby to carpool to spend the day in Kansas City. First, we'll visit the Steamship Arabia, the steamboat                              excavated in a farm field.  Cost:  $11.00 per person.  

 

________2:45 p.m.:  After lunch on our own, we'll visit the WWI Memorial and tower.  Cost:  10.00 per person.  Then, we'll proceed to Union Station.

 

_______6:00 p.m.:  Dinner and reunion meeting at the Bistro on the mezzanine overlooking the entrance floor of the beautifully restored Union Station.  Cost:  32.00 per person.

 

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4TH:

 

TARVIN HERITAGE DAY

_______9:00 a.m.  Meet in lobby to visit local interests.  Gary Hoffman will guide a group to the Mormon Visitor's Center; others may want to visit the Truman Home; others may want to visit an attraction in Kansas City. Pay on your own.

 

_______12:00 noon. We will have a boxed lunch in the breakfast room of the hotel, followed by a meeting and Round Table topics planned by Ralph Tarvin in the meeting room.  Cost:  $13.00 per person

 

_______6:00 p.m.: Join us at The Hereford House at the Hilton Garden Inn  for TRADITIONAL BANQUET, AUCTION OF TARVIN MEMORABILIA AND QUILT RAFFLE.  Cost: $34.00 per person   (Note: If you paid registration, cost is $32.00

 

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 5TH

 

_______8:00 a.m.   Gather in the lobby to say good-bye to cousins.  There may be a brief business meeting.

 

 

TOTAL COST IF ATTENDING ALL EVENTS:

This includes 5 meals and admission to all events.

If you are attending a reunion for the first time and attend all events, take 25% off the final total.
